We’re here to help a new generation cut through the noise.

As seasoned journalists with a shared passion for empowering the next generation, our mission is to equip young people with the skills they need to navigate a complex media environment.

Having witnessed first-hand how quickly this landscape is evolving, it’s become apparent that the next generation needs guidance now more than ever.

Our vision is to create a community centred around the belief that challenging misinformation is the best way to responsibly participate in democracy.

Drawing on our newsroom experience, industry insight, and drive to create lasting impact, we envisioned The Fact Studio to bridge the gap between media and young people.

The Team

  • As a multimedia journalist and proud startup enthusiast, Jennifer has spent her career amplifying the voices of ambitious business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Along the way, she’s worked with dynamic media publications like Digital Frontier and City AM, speaking with and learning from some of the brightest minds shaping our future.

If there’s one lesson that’s always stayed close to her heart, it’s that the most meaningful work comes when you combine curiosity with courage – and that’s what The Fact Studio is all about.

  • Hayley is a 28-year-old Aussie journalist and news junkie. While she’s enjoyed working for news agencies such as The Associated Press and Press Association in global news production, she became passionate about the idea of helping young people navigate the complex mix of news and rampant disinformation.

Teaming up with Jennifer, the two brainstormed ways to make this dream a reality – and The Fact Studio was born.
